kidz Connection - it's all about the GROWTH!, is a brand new curriculum specifically designed to meet the unique needs of small to average size churches! This curriculum is intentionally designed to equip churches with the tools they need to help their children connect with God, other believers and connect God's Word with children's everyday lives!

Is there truly a need for yet another curriculum resource? There certainly is no shortage of curriculum options available for churches today! In his book, Transforming Children Into Spiritual Champions, George Barna states the most effective churches utilize the Large Group/Small Group teaching model. This is very true as the Large Group/Small Group curriculum model is certainly the most effective if our goal is to help the children in our ministries remember God's Word, understand God's Word, live God's Word and have a changed life! There are many excellent Large Group/Small Group curriculum resources available, but most are designed to work most ideally in a large church. Small and average size churches can certainly use these curriculum resources effectively, but they will need to modify them to work in their setting. Kidz Connection is specifically designed to work in small and average size churches! Each lesson includes a free optional second service lesson to continue the learning in children's church or may be combined with the first lesson for longer services or even used for mid-week ministries!

Lynda Freeman has 30 years of experience working in Children's Ministry. She has served as children's director for churches of 1600 people - as well as in churches of 100 people - so she understands first hand the needs of small, average and large church Children's Ministries. Lynda worked as a consultant for Gospel Light, Group and ZonderKidz/Big Idea, ZonderKidz/Promiseland. Currently, she is the editor of 'round about the church.com, an on-line webzine, and is known for her reviews of curriculum and church resources.
